Thursday & Friday Reminders

Hello Everyone!

If you signed up to go on the middle school field trip for THIS THURSDAY (10/4) to Cooper's Rock, please note that we will meet at the big parking lot by the main pavilion at 11:00 am.

Mr. Bob Johnson, geologist, will do a rock walk with middle school students that day--and the weather looks like it will cooperate!

To get to Cooper's Rock, take I-68 Exit 15, and then follow the signs. The park is beautiful and fun for hiking (on clearly marked trails) and picnicking, in case you want to plan accordingly.

We are back to class schedule this Friday! You know the drill by now -- wear appropriate clothing for gym activities, bring only water to drink.

Mr. Bledsoe is a candidate for the House of Delagates, and he will be speaking to us during announcements this Friday, and also to the Group D Elections class and the Group F Leadership class. Don't forget to come up with some great questions to ask Mr. Bledsoe while he is with us.

Finally, if you signed up to bring apples or corndogs for Trinity's Harvest Fest this Saturday, October 6th, be sure to bring them in THIS Friday -- the Harvest Fest is the following evening!

The weather is supposed to be nice!

2. Please check the cafe counter when you get there
tomorrow:
--Families need to sign-in (we are recording
              attendance).
--Check your family mailbox folder to see what's
              inside!
--The draft membership directory will be out. Please
check your entry for accuracy and mark an "OK"
              beside your name when done.
--Check out field trip and other sign-ups, to be sure
you don't miss out on anything.

3. If you have them to loan, please bring in magnifying
glasses for the kindergarten class to use. Label them with
your name, and you can leave them on the counter.

4. For next week, the Irresponsible Science class is looking
for empty, clean coffee cans, metal or plastic, as long as
they have the lids. Recycling at its best!

5. Bring in your Boxtops for Education tomorrow! They will
be turned in at the end of this month. Place them in a
baggie or envelope and put them in Janine Tomko's
mailbox folder (on the cafe counter).

And don't forget to be in the Kidz Church room by

See you then!

Notes for Friday, October 21 Co-op

Hopefully, everyone is enjoying the cool, brisk, windy fall days we have had this week. Even though it is rainy today, I love this time of year and the way autumn feels.

Please remember that tomorrow is the last day to sign up and pay for the Rich Farms field trip, which is the following Friday, October 28th. You can make your check payable to Selena Campbell, and put it in my mail folder.

If you have any "Box Tops for Education" or Campbell's "Labels for Education," please bring them in tomorrow. Bring your box tops and labels--separately, please-- in a baggie or envelope, and put box tops in Janine Tomko's folder and the labels in Selena Campbell's folder.

If you are taking the drama class, don't forget to come to class with your tongue twister!

See you tomorrow!

Hello Homeschooling Families!

Those of us who went to the Pittsburgh Aviary had a great time, and pictures
of our trip will be posted soon.

Today, a sign-up sheet for our October field trip to Rich Farms' will be on the counter.
Please check it out and sign up to join us on October 28th.

Today, Friday, October 7th, we are back to regular--although still fun!--co-op
classes. Here are some notes for today's gathering:

First, if your 6-12th grader has not yet signed up for their 2 pm elective
class, please do so at the counter! They begin next week! Descriptions can be
found on the counter.

Second, Group C (grades 4-5) gym class, please bring your marked soccer ball if
you own one!

All gym class students, remember your gym shoes and water!! It should be a
beautiful day!

Lastly, if you are a middle school student in the non-fiction writing class,
and you (or your parent) own a Thesaurus, please bring it to class with you
today.

See you soon!
